63th International Colloquium on Refractories 2020
on September 16th and 17th - virtual conference and exhibition
Because of the present Covid-19-situation, the 63rd international Colloquium on Refractories (ICR) 2020 will take place in a virtual setting instead of the usual face-to-face event in Aachen. Resulting from this unforeseen change in circumstances, we are forced to cancel the industrial exhibition during ICR 2020, too.
However, the virtual ICR 2020 is planned to include keynotes and all presentations as recorded videos, proceedings, the Gustav Eirich Award and more. While a "physical" fair would certainly be nicer, we will try to grab the opportunities that open from a virtual setting for 2020.
We will keep you updated here.

Because of the present Covid-19 situation, the 2020 International Colloquium on Refractories (ICR) will take place in a virtual setting instead of the usual face-to-face event in Aachen. We are planning to offer all oral presentations as recorded video presentations (slides and spoken text) on a dedicated website for ICR 2020. All presentations will thus be made available to the scientific community and to all (virtual) participants of ICR 2020.
Presentations will be offered as a video presentation of your slides, along with your spoken text.
We will provide you with detailed information regarding all logistic issues, as well as dates for submission of your presentation, shortly. The proceedings of ICR 2020 will also be prepared, as usual.
We ask you not to make advertising in your presentation and manuscript.
You are allowed to use a company logo in your presentation, but please pay attention that it does not exceed a maximum size of 4cm x 4cm.

Resulting from this unforeseen change in circumstances, we are forced to cancel the industrial exhibition during ICR 2020.
However, the virtual ICR 2020 is planned to include keynotes and presentations as pre-recorded videos, proceedings, the Gustav Eirich Award and more. We are planning to have companies present themselves on the dedicated ICR 2020 website with promotional videos. We are currently working on establishing the new “virtual” format for ICR 2020. We will keep you updated about the possibilities for your company to present itself on the virtual ICR 2020, including advertising and sponsoring, here.
